Once described as "one of the most singular artists of her generation", Judy Clark studied fine art at the Slade and her early work was considered influential, particularly in relation to the development of women artists. She has works in the permanent collections at Tate Britain and Portcullis House and her career includes work across several arts disciplines including theatre and design.

Starting with a small run of ten handmade tables in 2012, Judy went on to create Curvalinea, her internationally successful design studio.  Based in Wiltshire, she continues to create her unique table collections, which are produced in Cornwall, and makes studio work using the range of traditional and unusual materials that characterise her distinctive career.
